The O.C. Supertones are a Christian ska group that uses music to share the love of Jesus. Filled with fun songs to put a smile on your face and a dance in your step, their live show is packed with energy and a deep connection to your soul. The band’s message is to encourage the Body of Christ and to reach non-believers. The six current members all serve at their local churches and four of them are full-time pastors.
The Supertones have sold over one million albums, been on more than 20 national and world tours, and have seen tens of thousands come to Christ…all for God’s glory!
Formed under a different name in 1991, the band released their debut album under their new moniker The OC Supertones in 1996, which received a Dove nomination. The follow-up album peaked on both Billboard's Heatseekers and Top Christian Albums charts at No. 3 and No. 2. The group performed at such high-profile events as World Youth Day with Pope John Paul II as well as numerous Billy Graham Crusades. Media appearances include MTV’s “120 Minutes,” CNN’s “Headline News,” and the cover of national touring magazine, Pollstar.
The Supertones disbanded in 2005, but reunited in 2010 for a string of live shows. In 2012, they released a new album, For The Glory, eight years after their last album. The album was funded via Kickstarter.

They produce not my favorite kind of music, but sometimes I can appreciate it. The O.C. Supertones do have an original sound.
A very good thing about their latest album 'For the Glory'is that I am able to listen and understand the lyrics without reading them. Very much bands forget the importance of this.
I give them 3.5/5 stars.
