A native of Tacoma, Washington, K.Ross is the third of eight children, a product of a musical family. At an early age while running around the home and playing the "air" guitar K.Ross began to develop an affinity for music, at the age of 5 he was madly in love with the bass guitar which he ultimately was self-­‐taught, this eventually afforded him the role of lead bass player for Old Path Miracle Cathedral C.O.G.I.C. in Vallejo, CA.

Drawing his inspiration from notable influences, such as, his father and Pastor, Harold Johnson, Jr; grandmother, Rochelle Wynn, Artist Doobie Powell and a host of many others. Currently K.Ross is a highly sought after song writer, singer, musician, producer and piano/organ player throughout Northern California. His claim to fame has been his inability to compromise the Word of God and his relationship with God that has lead to his ability to flourish greatly in his music.

Throughout his career K.Ross has transformed a unique, eclectic sound that has captured the ears of many across the nation within the Contemporary Gospel arena and has been the powerful force that bridges the gap between individuals from all walks of life, and piercing through the age, gender, ethnicity, and spiritual barriers .

K.Ross has played for a host of the music industries greatest artists, that includes: Ben Tankard, Steve Lawrence, Kierra Sheard, Marvin Sapp, Shirley Ceasar, Jessie Campbell and Juanita Wynn. He has also shared the stage performing his hit single "OutKast" during the "Misfit Tour" featuring Mali Music, Da Truth, B Reith, Sean Simmons, Ambassador, Chris Durso, and Rema Soul.
