Kyle "DJ Anomally" Hamrick is a DJ and producer from the Upstate of South Carolina, and his name truly fits. Just as an anomaly deviates from the norm, DJ Anomally doesn't follow the crowd. He walks to the beat of his own drum, in life and in music.
DJ Anomally has always had a passion for music. In fact, he listened to music so much that as a teen, his life revolved around it. He had to have the latest and the greatest music.
He took that love of music to the another level in 2006 when he bought his first set of turntables. He used them to mix mainstream rap and hip hop.
Then one moment changed all of his plans, and set him on a new journey.
DJ Anomally dedicated his life to Christ and realized that God wanted him to use his musical gifts for His glory. He then wanted to use his ability to spot up-and-coming artists, help them find larger platforms for their ministry, and produce high quality music.
However, DJ Anomally doesn't want the music to stay within the church. He believes the music he executively produces is for everyone.
Anomally currently owns Anomally Music, the independent label where his music is produced.
His latest work can be found on all digital media outlets. DJ Anomally is releasing his new project called Dreamteam - EP, which will be released 8/23/16 (pre-order and 1st single available on 7/26/16). The project features a number of great artists, including Dee-1, Japhia Life, Eshon Burgundy, Gemstones, Govenor Reiss, Dream Junkies, Von Won, Benjah and more.
DJ Anomally is married to his best friend, who continues to support him emotionally, physically, and spiritually. And the two are still proud to call the Upstate of South Carolina home.
