With a unique combination of rock, jazz and blues, Josh Dwyer's debut album "The Reason I Am Free" brings a fresh new sound to the contemporary christian music scene.
Josh has been a part of the music ministry at his local church, along with co-writer Jacob Burt, for the past 12 years. Together they have written an album which they hope will become a platform for sharing the Gospel of Christ. "What Jesus has done for us is a gift far too great to just be kept to ourselves" says Josh "We hope that the Lord will use this album in any way that he can, for His glory, not ours."
Originally from Concord New Hampshire, Josh was raised from a small child in Connecticut where he grew up in a godly home and attended church regularly with his family. Josh moved to the UK in 1999 when he married his wife Joanne, and has since had two children now aged 9 and 3. Josh is heavily involved with the music ministry at his church as well as being invoved with youth outreach and children's praise.
"The Reason I am Free" incorporates all of Josh's life experiences and varied musical taste to create an album which is truly unique. From gentle acoustic ballads with melodic, worshipful vocals to soaring guitar riffs with a rock edge, there's something for everyone.
