We all spend our lives in pursuit: looking for purpose, searching for fulfillment and truth. For the members of Chasing After, life is about pursuing the heart of Jesus. Their music is simply an artistic expression of this journey: its all about finding God in the ordinary. Combining corporate worship anthems with songs about the joys and struggles of life in Christ, Chasing After strives to creat...e a musical environment that allows their audience to connect with God and each other in a life-changing way. Frontman Scott Brown comments: “Worship goes far beyond singing songs, its about making a connection. It’s about finding God in the midst of our fears and failures and letting him change us from the inside out.”

Chasing After is based out of London, Ontario, Canada, and has had the privilege of playing at a wide variety of conferences, retreats, and worship concerts for several churches across Ontario. Dave Whitelaw, youth pastor at Emmanuel in Barrie comments: “We had Chasing After at one of our youth services. These guys not only understand worship, they were able to lead our students to worship God. They are professional yet authentic; energetic and yet reverent. We wouldn’t think twice in bringing these guys back.”

Chasing After released their debut EP, titled “Here I Am,” in October of 2009. The EP consists of 4 original worship songs, and is sure to inspire worshippers with its authentic lyrics and modern worship sound. The release has received radio play in Canada, and has also garnered attention in the US. Chasing After is currently writing and recording new material that boasts a more modern rock sound akin to artists such as: Starfield, Fee, Lifehouse, and the Fray. In the summer of 2010, the band will be releasing two singles in addition to continuing touring at various churches across Ontario.
