ZOEgirl was a Christian pop trio formed in 1999. The group comprised Chrissy Conway-Katina, Alisa Childers, and Kristin Swinford-Schweain. They were signed to Sparrow Records and released their debut single "I Believe" in 2000. This song and their self-titled debut album ZOEgirl helped them become Sparrow's fastest-selling artist of all time. With All Of My Heart, the lead single for their second album, Life, hit No. 1 on Christian Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR). Soon after, the group received a GMA Dove Award for New Artist Of The Year in 2002.
ZOEgirl's thrd album, Different Kind Of Free, released in 2003 with the lead radio single, "You Get Me," topping the Christian Adult Contemporary (AC) chart. It also peaked at No. 2 on CHR, making it the second-highest ZOEgirl song on that chart. Their fourth and final studio album, Room To Breathe, was a highly anticipated release that earned the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Top Heatseekers Album charts.
Glancing back in the rearview mirror of their career, it's the relationships they built, the lives they touched, and the impact they made for Christ that fueled this trio of women more than anything else.
"At the end of the day, in 20 years, I want to get a letter that says, I gave my heart to Jesus at a ZOEgirl concert,'" Alisa said. "To me, that's success. It's great to sell albums and win awards, but we aren't truly successful if we aren't leading people to heaven. That's eternal."
Chrissy added, "If we were remembered for anything else it wouldn't seem like we had fulfilled what we know God has called us to do."
The group disbanded in 2007 to focus on their families and personal objectives. In 2008, Chrissy and Kristin formed a new group, ColmanBlue, with Kelli Trontell, that eventually disbanded in 2010.

Zoegirl is an amazing group. They were the very first Christian group that I began to listen to. From their ballads to there rock/pop songs there music is postive. Their music has a variety if different topics and that is something very special to me.

ZOEgirl was such a fantastic group. It's a shame they broke up. Maybe we'll see a reunion sometime in the future. =D
