Eddy “Rawsrvnt” Puyol is a Grammy-recognized, American recording artist and speaker with Cuban roots and the entire world on his mind. From reality television to professional sports, he has been given platforms on some of today’s largest entertainment outlets to speak, perform, and touch hearts across the globe.
Whether it’s being cast as a bachelor on the Donald J. Trump presents The Ultimate Merger dating show, or performances at the Dove Awards and Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade’s birthday brunch, or even songs like the Billboard hit “On Fire” that NASCAR driver Michael McDowell selected for his intro, Eddy, performing under the name “Rawsrvnt” (pronounced raw servant), leverages both his opportunities and music to connect people to an ideal and abundant way of life.
“My music isn’t just for young people or inner city people or American people,” Puyol says. “It’s for everyone—souls created with intrinsic value and a unique purpose that I want to help them identify and pursue.”
That’s the essential message he shares with anyone who comes in contact with Soul Deep Ministries, the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Puyol founded in 2002 to share peace, grace, and love in a unique way to those within schools, neighborhoods, prisons, churches, and various pop culture marketplaces.
Rawsrvnt has appeared at the nation’s largest faith-based hip-hop festivals including Flavor Fest (Tampa, FL), Rap Fest (Bronx, NY), Atlanta’s Holy Hip-Hop Awards (where he was honored), and Brooklyn’s Kingdom Choice Awards (where he was also nominated for honors.) In addition, he was one of the first faith-based hip-hop artists invited to perform at both the record-breaking SunFest concert (West Palm Beach, FL) and multiple iterations of THE STORYTour alongside Max Lucado, Steven Curtis Chapman, Casting Crowns, Natalie Grant, Jeremy Camp, Matthew West, and others. He regularly travels internationally for performance and speaking engagements with messages that help listeners discover how to put their lives on a path toward true joy.
