For me, as well as many others, summer means vacations, swimming, cookouts, and simply enjoying the warmth of the sun outdoors. But all of those things need one essential thing—a summer playlist. Our Summer 2025 New Christian Music Preview highlights 13 albums released or releasing over the summer that you’ll want to listen to on repeat. Everything from worship, pop, metal, and everything in between, here are new albums for all Christian music fans coming out this summer.

And if you're looking for more, check out our Summer Music Playlist on

Big Daddy Weave - Let It Begin (May 23)

With their first new album in six years, contemporary band Big Daddy Weave is back at it with Let It Begin. The album features collaborations with artists Zach Williams, Katy Nichole, and Jason Gray, as well as a version of the title track, "Let It Begin," featuring Megan Woods and Ben Fuller.

Big Daddy Weave has been a cornerstone of Christian music for over a decade. Let It Begin is the sequel to their 2019 album, When the Light Comes, and boasts 15 standout tracks, including “I’ve Just Seen Too Much” and “Heaven Changes Everything.” The band is currently on the Let it Begin tour this summer, with fellow artists Ben Fuller and Megan Woods opening for them. Tour dates and tickets are available here.

Elevation Rhythm - Victory Lap (May 23)

A worship music collective formed from Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, Elevation Rhythm was established to create music to reach the younger generations. Regardless of your age, this album is filled with incredible worship songs and songs that will have you singing along at the top of your lungs, like my personal favorite, “GOODBYE YESTERDAY.”

Victory Lap is Elevation Rhythm’s third full-length album and follows up their 2023 release, This is the GospelVictory Lap also features collaborations with fellow Christian artists on six of the ten tracks. This is an album you’ll want to listen to all summer and beyond.

Newsboys - Worldwide Revival (Deluxe) (May 30)

Despite the unexpected departure of former lead singer Michael Tait earlier this year, current lead singer Adam Agee and the rest of the band haven’t let anything stop them. Worldwide Revival (Deluxe) features the original tracks from Worldwide Revival Part One as well as rerecorded versions of “How Many Times (oh how You love me)” and “Christ and Christ Crucified” featuring Agee’s vocals. On top of that, the album includes four previously unreleased songs, including “Fortress” and “New Name,” and covers of the songs “Death Was Arrested” and “God of Promises.”

Through numerous changes spanning their 30-plus years in the music industry, the Newsboys have consistently delivered music that impacts all generations. Whether you’re a long-time Newsboys fan or just getting introduced to their music, Worldwide Revival (Deluxe) is sure to be just as great as their prior releases.

Jon Reddick - No Fear (May 30)

Contemporary artist Jon Reddick’s single, “No Fear,” with the same title as his second album, released in May, is perfect for summer days with the windows down. “No Fear” has just become his first number-one hit. His latest album also features a collaboration with the contemporary band We the Kingdom, offering a fresh take on the song.

His 2022 debut album, God Turn It Around, featured the hits “God Turn It Around” and “You Keep Hope Alive.” With this only being his second album, Jon has a proven track record of releasing great music with great lyrics. This is an album you’ll want to add to your summer playlist.

Wolves at the Gate – Wasteland (May 30)

Here’s one for all of you metal/rock fans. Hard rockers Wolves at the Gate’s album Wasteland, released in May, features the previously released songs “PARASITE” and “SYNTHETIC SUN” along with other bangers to add to your summer playlist.

Wasteland is the follow-up to their 2023 covers album Lost in Translation. With the perfect balance of introspective lyrics and melodies, this is an album you’ll be banging your head along with all summer.

Rend Collective - FOLK! (June 6)

Folk band Rend Collective has been on fire, releasing new music over the past few months. They’ve released two EPs: FOLK! (Pt. 1) and FOLK! (Pt. 2) Each of these EPs is filled with solid, relatable tracks that I’ve personally had on repeat since their release.

FOLK! is the culmination of these two EPs and even has a few new tracks. “Fight of My Life” has been one of their biggest hits from the two EPs. The song reflects lead singer Chris Llewellyn’s struggle with depression and serves as a reminder that God is our joy, even during challenging circumstances and in the fight of your life. Rend Collective often says that their music is meant for campfire sing-alongs, and I couldn’t agree more. These are the songs you’ll want playing during your next backyard bonfire as you roast s'mores.

Ben Fuller - Walk Through Fire (June 6)

With his first album, Who I Am, released only three years ago, worship artist Ben Fuller has already made a name for himself in Christian music. Fuller gives full credit to God for transforming his life, previously consumed by drugs and alcohol, into a life where he can share the life-changing power of God through music, as seen in his song “Turn.”

Walk Through Fire features the previously released songs “Turn,” If I Got Jesus,” and “If It Was Up To Me,” which features vocals from country artist Carrie Underwood. Fuller has been busy writing and recording music, with this being his third album in three years. Fuller is on tour this summer with Big Daddy Weave on their Let It Begin tour. Tour dates and tickets are available here.

Brandon Lake - King of Hearts (June 13)

Contemporary artist Brandon Lake is not only gaining popularity in Christian music, but his latest collaboration on the song “Hard Fought Hallelujah” with mainstream artist Jelly Roll has also made him well-known outside of the Christian music scene.

Formerly a member of Bethel Music and Maverick City Worship, King of Hearts is Brandon Lake’s fifth solo album and also features collabs with fellow artists CeCe Winans, Hank Bentley, and Hulvey. Brandon Lake has been a staple in Christian music for quite some time, so this is an album you’ll want to check out.

SEU Worship - A Forgiving God (June 27)

SEU Worship is a worship music collective based at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. The group has consistently released new music since 2013. A Forgiving God is the follow-up to their 2024 live album, Move of God. This nine-track album features the single “Fruit Takes Time,” an incredible song that reminds us that God’s ways are not our ways and that it takes time for us to be shaped into what God has planned for us.

Jordan Merritt - Seasons (July 11)

Not only did contemporary artist Jordan Merritt drop two albums in 2024, Jordan Merritt: Part I and Jordan Merritt: Part II, but he’s already back with Seasons, set to release on July 11.

In addition to his solo albums, Merritt is also the lead singer for The Band Table. In April 2025, he performed his song “Scary” off of Jordan Merritt: Part II at NewReleaseToday’s We Love Christian Music Awards. After seeing him perform live, I'm sure this album will capture the same passion he brings to the stage.

Stars Go Dim - Roses (July 11)

Christian band Stars Go Dim is back with their new album Roses, a follow-up to 2022's Grace In The Wilderness. The album features 11 tracks, including the previously released singles “Mama Don’t Lie (Alright)” and “A Little Light.”

The music video for “Mama Don’t Lie (Alright)” has already hit over one million views on YouTube since its release a few months ago. Their prior albums are filled with catchy songs, so there’s no doubt that Roses will also be filled with songs you’ll have on repeat this summer.

Anchor & Braille - New Mexico (July 25)

Anchor & Braille, a side project from former Anberlin frontman Stephen Christian, is making a comeback after a five-year hiatus since the release of Tension in 2020. New Mexico is an album I’m especially excited about this summer. The first single from the album, “Sweet Jesus Knows,” is now available.

Whether it’s with Anberlin, Anchor & Braille, or his solo worship albums Wildfires and Spirited, which he’s put out in recent years, Christian’s vocals always deliver, and the lyrics are sure to be powerful and often thought-provoking.

Katy Nichole - Honest Conversations (August 15)

Pop artist Katy Nichole made her debut on the Christian music scene in 2023 with her self-titled album, which features the hit songs “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” and “God Is In This Story.”

Now you can listen to the songs “Honest Conversation” and “When I Fall” from her upcoming album. Both songs showcase her powerful vocals and impactful lyrics. These songs are both vulnerable and relatable. The 12-track album, set to drop on August 15, is already shaping up to be a fantastic way to conclude your summer.
