Fans of Southern rock-inspired Christian music, such as Third Day, Collective Soul, Zach Williams, Rhett Walker, and NEEDTOBREATHE, will find a natural connection with Ben Fuller’s music. With a style rooted in powerful vocals, honest lyrics, and a Southern-tinged rock sound, Fuller has quickly made a name for himself in the contemporary Christian music scene. His breakout songs, including "Who I Am," "Wide Awake," and "But the Cross," serve as raw, heartfelt expressions of faith and redemption, echoing his testimony of transformation from addiction and brokenness to a life anchored in Christ. For Fuller, music is a vehicle to share the life-changing power of Jesus—a mission evident in every lyric he writes.

Before releasing his self-titled 2022 debut album under Provident Label Group, Fuller gained traction with earlier tracks, such as "If I Got Jesus," which showcased his authentic storytelling and gospel-rooted sound. That album also featured fan favorites such as "He Got a Hold on Me" and "Testimony," each contributing to his growing reputation as an artist who bridges the gap between vulnerability and hope. His more recent singles, including "Turn" and “Don't Let Me Forget,” continue that pattern, blending personal experience with spiritual truth.

With the release of his 2025 album Walk Through Fire, Fuller enters a new chapter in his ministry, offering songs that reflect perseverance, faith under pressure, and the refining nature of trials. His catalog has become a source of encouragement for listeners seeking genuine Christian music that doesn’t shy away from real struggles. To spotlight his most impactful work, here are five essential Ben Fuller songs that deserve a place on every faith-based playlist.

“Don’t Let Me Forget”

This song conveys a message of salvation, encouraging us to reflect on the great suffering Jesus endured to redeem us from our sins. This song serves as a gentle reminder that our identity is grounded in who He is as our Father and who we are as His beloved children.

The song’s beautiful message mirrors the Good News of the Gospel: God accepts us unconditionally, regardless of our past actions or current struggles. It powerfully expresses our commitment to running the race well as believers and not being ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sing along and proclaim these words as a prayer for salvation for our hurting world: “There's a Savior in my story/Says I don't have to die ‘cause He did it for me/Now the breath in my lungs sings holy holy/And whatever I do He gets the glory, glory.”

 “Since Jesus”

This song celebrates the freedom we have in Christ when we are born again. It serves as a testimony about the power of redemption. In today's culture, it is radical for people to accept the entrance requirements of heaven: repentance and spiritual rebirth.

Sing this song back to Jesus and tell Him that you need no one other than Him. Pray along, “I ain’t ever been the same/Since Jesus, ain’t a thing that hasn’t changed/Since Jesus, He wrecked the plans Of this broken man/Turned a heart of stone to pieces/I ain’t ever been the same/Since Jesus.”

“Deeper Still”

Our redemption stories all connect perfectly with this song. It celebrates the day we were saved from our sins and encourages listeners to reflect on and celebrate their own experiences of salvation.

This song is about our savior, Jesus, who overcame the grave. It expresses the importance of submitting ourselves entirely to Him and His goodness, allowing His blood to cover us and flow through our veins. That's how we can "overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony."

This song serves as an anthem for those who embrace the Lord's power rather than relying solely on their strength. Sing along with enthusiasm to the heartfelt and emotive lyrics of submission found in the refrain: "Then I found Jesus/At the end of myself Cause all I needed/Was for my strength to run out/At my weakness He was waiting/To pick me where I fell His love goes deeper/Oh, Goes deeper still."

“Turn”

This song reminds listeners of their salvation experience. I was sitting in my car, listening to a Christian music album, and at the end, the artist shared his testimony, which mirrored my own story. I finally admitted to myself and God that I am a sinner who can’t save myself. I pulled over to the side of the road and sobbed as I was invited to join in saying the sinner’s prayer. I confessed my sins, begged for forgiveness, and accepted Jesus as my savior. I felt the presence of God with me in my car, and I’ve never been the same.

Like Ben sings in the song, "Nowhere to turn but Jesus, I turn it all over, let you turn it around, turn it around. Screaming my prayers to heaven, I turn it all over. Let you turn it around. Turn it around.”

“If I Got Jesus”

Once we have been saved—"redeemed"—and released from bondage, we gain an understanding of what we have been saved from. This song offers one answer to what we are saved for: to worship the name of Jesus with all our hearts, minds, and strength.

We know from Proverbs 18:10 (NKJV): "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Isn't that a wonderful truth? The person of Jesus is all that we have and all that we need. Isn't crying out for the safety and protection of Jesus everything we need?

There's safety and security in the knowledge of our savior and redeemer, Jesus. There's only one name under heaven by which we can be saved: Jesus. This song is a celebration: "If I got Jesus/I’ve got all that I could ever need/Take the world away from me/And I’ll be okay /If I got Jesus/There’s a hope that’s living deep inside/A joy that I could never hide/And a safe place to fall/If I got Jesus/I got it all."
