Each week, dozens of singles and a handful of projects are released in the Christian Hip-Hop (CHH) and Urban Soul spaces. Below, we listen to a few highlights and list the rest for your own discovery. As always, follow our New Christian Rap & Hip Hop playlist on Spotify and Apple Music to listen to all the latest.
process of elimination EP by Aable RIPE collective artist Aable releases his first project of 2025 after dropping two singles during the first quarter of the year. The process of elimination EP was produced by Ralph Saint-Fleur. The five-track EP explores the excellence found in the boom bap-driven lyricism this Philly-based rapper exploits. Aable is a hip-hop purist. He respects the art found within its roots and ensures only supremacy emits from his lips and heart.
Favorites include “oneofone” and “ninetofive,” however, I love each of the included five tracks for various reasons. Organized freestyles divulged from the Spirit within outward to the ears of the people. Aable’s delivery refreshes the dullness repeatedly echoing from trap-based production and emotionless content most rappers define as creative. Keep Aable on the radar as he’s only progressing upward moving forward. Stream the process of elimination EP on Spotify here.
Jered Sanders - "Glory to the Lord" Independent rapper and former God Over Money artist Jered Sanders blesses his fanbase with the second single of 2025. Here’s what Sanders’ promo image had to say about the new single, “It’s a challenge to the “young man’s game”, therefore, frowned upon in the industry. Some will consider this forth coming album a retirement while some will say it’s a test of “does he still got it?” Sanders calmly admits it’s just the first quarter. Michael Jordan is still Jordan when with the Wizards. Right now, let’s give Glory to the Lord!” It may only be the first month of Spring, but Sanders has released a certified summer heaters a few months ahead of schedule. The bounce. The electronic soundscape. Everything meshes like a summer BBQ at the courts. Stream “Glory to the Lord” on Spotify and Apple Music.
C4 Crotona - "The Door"
Menace Movement’s C4 Crotona drops his first solo single of 2025 after being involved on track features on a handful of songs this year. “The Door” is about a journey from struggle and loss to personal awakening and renewal. It highlights confronting inner battles, finding resilience, and discovering hope through reflection. The single emphasizes that no matter how heavy life feels, there is always a path forward, offering strength and a sense of peace.
His fellow friend and artist Knaladeus produced the track for Crotona. Triumphant horns take center stage backed by an array of live sounds and samples. The overall production is top-notch and makes the track knock extra hard! Stream “The Door” on Spotify and Apple Music.
