Each week, dozens of singles and a handful of projects are released in the Christian Hip-Hop (CHH) and Urban Soul spaces. Mike Teezy - "Guide Me" The proper term to summarize the influx of releases from Mike Teezy in 2025 would be versitility. Teezy has crossed the genre gaps between afrobeat, rhythm and blues, soul, and of course hip-hop. He's able to explore varied flows, rhyme schemes and vocal talents regardless of the tempo or style of music. "Guide Me" exemplifies such explorations of sound.
This worship-driven single playfully incorporates Teezy's lyricism coupled with harmonies, and afrobeat-led flows. To date, "Guide Me" represents my favorite song from his extensive catelog of hits and deep cuts. Stream "Guide Me" on Spotify and Apple Music.
5ive and Mike Servin - "JESUS Anonymous" Texan Craig “5ive” James returns with his first new music since 2022. He’s teamed up with Californian Mike Servin to create a certified anthem for believers across the world. The single is being released and distributed through RMG Amplify. The track serves as a battle cry for any follower of Christ who has been set free from any and everything which previously had them bound. Addictions. Idols. Essentially, any sinful continued act. 5ive has always been known for an unashamed approach to his platform and music. He’s strictly theological in his approach and has faithful kept the essence of what CHH was founded upon. Also, it doesn’t hurt Servin stays screaming the name of Jesus Christ for all the peoples to hear! Stream “JESUS Anonymous” on Spotify and Apple Music.
Kevi Morse - "Hold On"
Grand Rapids’ native Kevi Morse returns for his fourth single released in 2025. “Hold On” is a song of perseverance, reminding listeners that blessings are worth the wait. It encourages faith, resilience, and optimism even through life’s hardest moments. The song emphasizes that while struggles are inevitable, the key is remembering all the positive things in your life to keep you going. Also, it doesn’t hurt, this is probably my favorite track from Morse this year. The hook is ridiculously catchy, and the vibe is full of chill. Stream “Hold On” on Spotify and Apple Music.
