Planetshakers is a world-renowned worship group known for its upbeat melodies. Their lyrics convey powerful messages about the love of God, which speak to individuals of all ages. Generation after generation, they have proven their passion for seeing the kingdom of God reign on Earth.
These songs are perfect examples of the captivating spirit they embody. I'll dive into one melody off the record, Revival, that perfectly displays the title through each song with the hope of the Lord's revival in our world. I'll also bring back another hit that they transformed into a live music video. Enjoy.
"All My Life"
"It's a brand new day.
All my past is washed away.
So, I give You all my praise."
I love this song for its contagious energy. The band shares a great message here of relentless worship. Jesus never stops loving us, so why should we stop praising him? Dancing and singing for His glory isn't a chore either; it's the thing I enjoy doing the most. Let your cares float away, even if it's just for a moment. Jesus is worthy, and I am exuberant about the opportunity to dedicate my every move to furthering His kingdom.
"I Know You Can (Live at Chapel)"
"You can
You can move the mountain
There's no doubt about it
You're able."
Jesus is almighty. This cemented hope is sometimes the only thing that gets me through the day. I love Him because when everything else breaks down, He never fails to swoop in and save me. He fills the gaps in my heart and becomes exactly what I need now. For this reason, I am confident that He can. No matter what you need, I know He will provide. I know He will heal no matter what is broken in your life. He can move the mountains, no doubt about it.
As I mentioned in the introduction, adding a live atmosphere created an incredible sound of praise in this song. Knowing the hearts of these band members, I know it's an authentic display of adoration for God. I'm grateful that this moment was recorded so we can enjoy it even alone in our homes. Jesus never stops being able, nor will he cease being worthy of praise.
