Praise band The Church Will Sing provides a unique perspective on worship music. This project, created by Word Worship Music, allows congregations worldwide to submit vocals and be featured on collaborative volumes. The songs are penned by successful writers who have written some of the Christian music industry's most beloved worship favorites. Today, we take a look at two songs crafted by this compilation of voices: "Holy" and "Worthy Is Your Name (Exalted)." The first song mentioned features Conrad & 7 Hills Worship, and the second one highlights Cecily and Reach City Worship. Their newest project, The Church Will Sing, Volume 2, is out now.
"Holy"
"And would You find me here I'm on my knees
My reverence and my honesty
I'm letting go
I'm giving You control"
Although a distinct voice is leading this melody, the choir also joins the sound for the song's entirety. This focus on community perfectly exemplifies the mission of The Church Will Sing while retaining the utmost glorification of God.
Surrendering is a difficult action to carry out, but the concept is simple. It's the weight transfer from our shoulders to the Lord concerning this life. He yearns for us to trust Him with all that we go through. This longing on His part defines utter selflessness that human emotions can't compare to. "There is no one like the Son of God Jesus" because of this unparalleled grace. Even digging into the scope of love I've experienced in my lifetime, I have no problem admitting that my deepest desire doesn't compare to His for us. I pray that you will recognize Him as holy today and give Him control.
"Worthy Is Your Name (Exalted)"
"Oh, how majestic You reign
The heavens roar, the еarth proclaims"
Inspired by Revelation 5:12-13, this song encapsulates the sound of heaven worshiping our King. Something special that the Bible verse reveals is the certainty of praising God. Maybe we don't "feel like'' worshiping today, but that won't stop the rest of the earth from participating. The mountains bow to God's glory; the beautiful colors of the flowers are perfectly crafted to bring attention to God's magnificence.
Each voice in the song blends to express its awe of the Heavenly Father. Humility is a large part of acknowledging our position as children of God. We owe Him the praise, and this song recognizes that truth. The earth and heavens already sing of God's worthiness every day. In gratitude for His love and sacrifice, join in and sing the song.
