Blanca’s third full-length studio album, The Heartbreak and The Healing, offers two sides of the same story—the hurt and the redemption. Written in the wake of a painful divorce, the songstress vulnerably cracks her heart wide open on her new 14-track collection that showcases the merger of her voice and her transparent lyricism. A diverse fusion of pop, Latin, hip-hop, and Gospel, the record follows Blanca on a journey of self-discovery as she rises from the ashes stronger and more empowered than ever before.
“New Day" (feat. Jekalyn Carr)
Blanca radiates confidence in her fresh song, “New Day.” Unbreakable, the artist shakes off the critics and steps into new mercies as she charts a course all her own with a good deal of grit and determination. A blend of pulsating hip-hop beats and a soulful groove, the pulls-no-punches selection welcomes five-time GRAMMY nominee Jekalyn Carr on the second verse. Together, the two powerhouse vocalists make a bold statement: They’re not settling, and good things are coming their way.
“The Healing" (feat. Dante Bowe)
A confident declaration of hope, “The Healing” serves as Blanca’s latest anthem of restoration following a painful season of loss. The singer wrote the pulsating pop selection with Dante, Anton Göransson, and Isabella Sjöstrand as a testimony to the healing she’s experienced in her own heart. Her soaring vocal range is on full display alongside Dante’s unmistakable raspy tone. Together, they remind listeners that the God who holds the stars and moon in place is the same God who ignites healing in our very souls, stirring up faith in all who hear this powerful song.
“The Healing (Spanish Version)" (feat. Dante Bowe)
Recorded in Blanca’s native language, the Spanish version of “The Healing” puts a fresh twist on the powerhouse vocalist’s hit single. The artist wrote the pulsating pop selection as a testimony to the healing she’s experienced in her own heart following a painful divorce.
“Never Too Far" (feat. Ty Brasel)
In “Never Too Far,” Blanca explores the dichotomy of her emotions and insecurities. Coming face to face with her brokenness considering God’s grace, the singer finds comfort in a love that stays. Featuring her pop artist Ty Brasel, the upbeat pop track acknowledges that despite our mistakes, we’re never out of reach of a God who consistently pursues us.
"Even At My Worst"
Blanca says, “Writing songs that are true to my story has always been my goal, but there are a few special moments in your career where you write a song and feel like it literally carries your heart. ‘Even At My Worst’ does just that. I walked through a divorce in 2019 that left me feeling broken and insecure about my own self-worth. It's from that rock bottom that I was able to experience God’s goodness in such a real way.”
