Sovereign Grace Music has a specific mission to serve their family of churches, aptly named Sovereign Grace Churches. They aim to "produce Christ-exalting songs and training for local churches from local churches." It's summed up in the title Sound+Doctrine. For 30 years, they have been working toward this continuous goal and their heart for God remains just as dedicated as it was when they began.

They recently chose to expand the horizons of their ministry by releasing their debut full-length album, Unchanging God. It is Volume One of their collection of songs from the book of Psalms. We got a chance to dive into two songs off the album, below.

"How Great (Psalm 145)"

How great is the Lord and greatly to be praised

How great is the Lord our God
How great is the Lord and greatly to be praised
And greatly to be praised

Jesus is with you. He always has been. He was the soft melody whispering over your anxious mind, a warm comfort blanket when you were shaking on the worst night. He always is. He is the crowd cheering as you run, the internal warmth that only comes from holding His hand. He always will be. He will be the one lifting you in victory when you pass the finish line, the reason you will be allowed entry into eternal life with our Heavenly Father. He is closer than the air we breathe, closer than those very particles entering into our lungs. It's not possible to stress how much He loves us; never will I be able to explain the all-encompassing length of His love. But I can tell you that He is with you now, He sees you because He is in you. I pray for peace over your mind, and confidence to settle in all of us as we rest in His presence.

"The Lord Almighty Reigns (Psalm 93)"

He reigns when oceans roar

He reigns above the storm
Enthroned on high, the Lord Almighty reigns

I felt that a prayer should follow this song and close up this week's editorial. I truly believe God hears our prayers, the more specific the better and He is one to deliver His children. You are not alone. Lord, I pray for an open heart in everyone reading this right now. I pray that they will encounter your grace in a supernatural way, one which they have never experienced before. Please be with them the rest of this week no matter what comes their way. The world feels like it is spinning out of control, but you are constant. You never change and I believe you can work miracles. Open up the floodgates of heaven and let the river of your love fall onto these lovely people of faith right now. I praise you forever, my unchanging God, and thank you for your endless love.
