Over the past two decades, Lakewood Worship has accompanied Lakewood Church as they established themselves as the largest church in the state of Texas. They hope their music will inspire others into unique worship moments just like the ones encapsulated in their albums. The group of musicians is based in Houston, Texas and they make music that is relatable around the world.

NEW: "In The Name"

In the Name of Jesus giants are defeated
Every single mountain has to move

“Take authority over the enemy’s plans against you,” a wise person once told me. With Jesus in our hearts, we quite literally have the power to move mountains. He has already won our battles for us, but it's up to us to remember that and apply it in our life. His spiritual reign may seem useless in our everyday problems, but I promise you it is just the opposite. If it were not for His mighty power, I probably wouldn’t be writing this right now. Never underestimate what He can do and remember to put that into use to foil the enemy again and again. The sword of the Spirit never gets dull.

NEW: "It's Happening Now"

Hear the Heavens roaring as all creation sings
Holy, holy, holy, is Jesus Christ, our King

I love thinking about our “first nature,” the purpose we were all created for: worshipping our King. Humans often complicate life by trying to figure out their own path and what they believe they’re destined to do. But they get it wrong every time. Why? Because they’re relying on themselves to solve a puzzle only one person can put together. That person is God, the one who created the puzzle of our life in the first place. He may show us bits and pieces of the path ahead of us, but not the whole picture. If he did that, what would faith be for? Once we accept this built-in desire of worship, it becomes so much more fulfilling. I have found myself many times not wanting to leave that place of praise and I encourage you to step into such a moment with this song.
