"Embrace The Dead 1999" is a limited free-download special edition re-mastered re-issue version of Kekal's 2nd album "Embrace The Dead", originally released as cassette and CD formats back in 1999. The original versions have been entirely sold-out since 2004.
As a part of Kekal's 15th Anniversary "celebration" in 2010, a digitally remastered version of "Embrace The Dead" is made available as a limited edition to 1000 downloads - all for free. Hence the album name "Embrace The Dead 1999" to differ the current limited version from the original versions.
The band's 2nd full-length album "Embrace The Dead" was recorded back in 1999, and has been marked as the band's most challenging and problematic album recording session, ranging from technical issues, financial difficulties, to many other things including the label rip-off and lack of promotion and distribution of the album. The band's 3rd album title "The Painful Experience" was actually referred to "Embrace The Dead".
This is why "Embrace The Dead" was chosen as an album of choice to celebrate Kekal's 15th Anniversary - a celebration of life through pain and suffering: a core value that has driven Kekal to keep moving forward beyond its level of comfort.
Please note that this album download will be limited to only 1000, and will be closed once it reached total 1000 downloads.
