Christian music veteran and “metal missionary” Michael Bloodgood is passionate about reaching people for Christ. He answered the calling God placed on his life when he founded the groundbreaking metal band bearing his namesake; he has since seen countless lives changed through his music and ministry. "The idea for putting Bloodgood together came long before there was anything like Christian metal. It was born through prayer and a burden the Lord put on my heart,” says Michael. “We wanted the Lord to orchestrate our ministry and bring us to where He could reach the unsaved and encourage believers. Michael Bloodgood serves as senior pastor of Calvary Chapel in Redmond, Washington. He is currently working with Bloodgood on the release of their upcoming studio album, which fans eagerly await.
