Loma Linda, CA — February 6, 2026 — Artist and composer Larry Karpenko announces the release of his new single, Love’s Color, arriving on the same day the world gathers for the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 World Olympics. The timing is intentional and deeply symbolic: as nations unite in a global celebration of humanity, Karpenko offers a song that paints love, God's pure and perfect love, as the force capable of bringing people together across every border, background, and story.
Inspired by vivid imagery and emotional honesty, Love’s Color moves from winter’s muted grays into a radiant palette of hope, unity, and devotion. The song’s lyrics trace a journey from isolation to connection—“as if I were dreaming in gray”—before exploding into the warmth and brilliance of love’s transformative power. With its sweeping chorus and poetic storytelling, the track captures the universal longing to be seen, known, and united. Karpenko’s writing blends personal reflection with a broader message: love is the color that restores, heals, and binds us together.
Releasing on the same day as the Olympic flame is lit, Love’s Color stands as a musical reminder of what the Games represent at their best—unity, peace, and the beauty of humanity coming together. As athletes from around the world step onto the global stage, Karpenko’s song invites listeners everywhere to embrace a deeper unity in their own lives. With its cinematic bridge—“This is the best day… truly united… painting Olympic skies”—the single resonates as both a personal love story and a wider anthem of hope. Love’s Color will be available on all major streaming platforms beginning February 6, 2026.

I'll check this out.| Posted February 08, 2026
I'm a sucker for songs that use color as a metaphor, so yeah, I'll check this out. The "painting Olympic skies" line sounds like it could be cheesy or really powerful depending on the delivery. Interested to hear it. -hypackel game
