In the summer of 2013, Amos Helvey and Nicholas Pierson were inspired to compose Christian rock music. The project began humbly, with three acoustic praise songs, but gained momentum and quickly evolved into a full length album. Shortly after writing the music, Helvey and Pierson met with Ryan Swanson, who began the recording and mixing process. The three pushed their musical boundaries and, with the help and leadership of the Lord, completed their ambitious project. They created an inspirational album of impressive quality that they titled "Soldiers for Christ," a name referencing the battle that they fight daily to strive for righteousness.
