Solid album minus a few songs. I wished the whole album sounded like renewed. Man that would kill most of the stuff out there now. Glad too see Stryper still putting out albums and still sounding good because a lot of 80's bands can't pull it off anymore. Great solos, vocals, drums, and bass. Jesus is just alright is one of the weakest songs in my opinion but it's not my band. Thanks NRT for the free preview. I will be getting the album.
For anyone who is NOT an avid Stryper fan, you could give yourself the biggest musical gift imaginable by giving this a listen... holy smokes, it's an amazing record with NO "throwaway" songs... polished, melodic, heavy rock-n-roll at its absolute finest!
Long time Stryper fan- loved the album! Home runs for me are REVELATION, NO MORE HELL TO PAY, AND WATER INTO WINE; honorabe mentions: SAVED BY LOVE AND JESUS IS JUST ALRIGHT. All the songs are great- fresh guitar licks on most tracks; I love the different vocal tone throughout "Legacy" (I think that was it?) The tempo transition on Jesus is still Alright saved the song for me- loved the smokin' tempo and guitar work on Saved by Love. Can't wait to listen more when I get my copy!! thanks for the opportunity to listen early...! God Bless-
I saw my first Stryper concert in 1984 in Greensboro, NC. They have been my favorite ever since. With all the reviews that I have read I could not wait to hear this album for myself. Once again, Stryper has delivered an incredible album. It has everything that a Stryper album should and goes places that Stryper has not gone before. Thank you so much Michael, Robert, Oz and Tim for Keeping the Fire Burning!! Cannot wait for November 5th.
Wow, Stryper has just blown up the music industry once again! This album is by far, the best album of 2013. It may be the best album that has come out the last twenty years. Amazing! In an era where music is pretty bland, even in Christian music, which tends to follow the mainstream styles, Styper has blazed a new trail in today's music scene. Stryper needs to milk this great album for all that it is worth. They have released a video for NMHTP and they are soon to release Sympathy. I say they need to release Legacy and Water into Wine as video's as well. Maybe even, The One. At least release The One to Christian radio. I am dying to see Stryper do exceptionally well with the release of this album. This is there chance, with such incredibly strong material. They need to do it here and now, to set the stage for many great things to come. They need to put every effort into making this at the very least a platinum effort. I think that will require more public attention to this release. Video's, singles, late night appearances, etc. Go Stryper!!!
You really should buy the eleventh studio album, on their thirtieth anniversary, No More Hell To Payby Stryper. These rock worshippers will make you praise with their songs. And you really need to listen to their music. Let's adore Him!
Typical Stryper| Posted October 31, 2013
I listened to this album without a lot of knowledge of Stryper. It was pretty much what I expected. A lot of electric guitar with driving vocals and powerful drums backing it all up. There are mutiple guitar solos and screaming lyrics. This isn't my favorite style of music, but I am sure a fan of this style will enjoy this album.
BEST PERFORMANCE EVER!!!!| Posted October 31, 2013
LITERALLY THE BEST STRYPER CD EVER!!! Not pulling any punches...if you combine TO HELL WITH THE DEVIL and AGAINST THE LAW together with current production under the guise of Michael Sweet, this is what you have...theyre calling this one the supposed sequel to THWTD...and on top of all that the mind blowing album artwork (which I pray they will release in litho or poster). I GUARANTEE YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER BAND IN ROCK MUSIC WITH ORIGINAL LINEUP THAT WILL COMEOOUT THIS STRONG AND WITH THIS CALIBUR OF A RELEASE...#strypernomorehelltopay

AWESOME !! Icing on the cake is the impeccable mix !! At the end of the album, it feels like a roller coaster ride that one thoroughly enjoyed and wants to repeat a dozen times over again and again !!Cyril Cherian

Wow Stryper? Just listened to the whole album. Don't normally listen to albums anymore, but this one was great from front to back. Will be buying next week. Great to see these guys still around. Best track by far is Legacy.
