Since the release of her self-titled debut album, seventeen year-old Krystal Meyers has garnered a Dove Award nomination for New Artist of the Year, had three Top 10 singles and performed before more than 400,000 people. Additionally, Meyers has graduated high school, performed as part of the Winter Jam Tour, presented at the GMA Awards, been to Japan twice, and completed her second record.
On her sophomore release, Krystal grapples with issues faced daily by her peers. The ambitious project continues Meyers' message of "Anticonformity," encouraging young people to stand up for God's plan for their life. Tracks like "The Situation" delve into the struggle for purity in relationships, while "The Beauty of Grace" reminds that there is forgiveness for all. Krystal explains the message further, "There are a few songs that are controversial, dealing with real issues facing young people today. I wanted to write those songs to challenge the youth of my generation."

I really was not too fond of her first cd, but this one has some great stuff on it. I really like "Collide", "The Beauty of Grace", "Only You Make Me Happy" (Elvis is dead, but my King is alive-haha love that line!), and "Shake it Off". This is a great second album! Love it!

Krystal Meyers is very near and dear to my heart!
I will always love her music. I have been a fan of hers for about three years =)
And i've never been unhappy with her music!
I really loved her debute album (yes alot of her songs were soft ballads) buttt they were testimonial and she really shared her feelings about what she was going through or had gone through in her life. Plus, Anticonformity, i mean wow! that song is my anthem.
But anyhooo
Dying for heart.
Wowzers!!!
Everything just got 10x better when she released this amazing record.
I got it the day it came out and immediately put it in my stereo and listened to the whole freakin thing from tracks 1-10!
although i was disapointed that we had to have a pink cover when japan got the rad cover!
how unfair!
my favorite song on this record would have to be stand and scream.
I'm Dying For More Krystal| Posted October 11, 2007
Let me get this straight...this album is wayyyy better than her debut. With her first album, I could tell Krystal really needed to just plain "rock out" and that she was kind of hidden in her shell. Half of the album was slow, with more acoustic sounds and ballads, which were good, but not enough for her album to be labeled "rock." I saw some real potential in this girl though, so I decided to give her a 2nd chanc and buy this cd. I was soooo impressed! This time, there are only 2 ballads, and even those are simply wonderful. Krystal gets to rock hard on tracks like Collide, The Situation, Love Is On The Run, and Stand and Scream. Songs like Live, Together, and Shake It Off are more soft rock, while still being catchy and rhythmic. Make Me Happy is like a pop/rock anthem, with its catchy, repetitive, and even quirky, sound. The 2 ballads Beauty of Grace and Hallelujah are very sophisticated and meaningful and you can really tell Krystal's voice has matured more since the self-titled album. I usually make a list of songs that are: Favorites, Excellent, Good, OK, Bad....but on this album, there's not a song that's my favorite because all of them are EXCELLENT! Not one song on here that I don't love. Usually there will be a few songs on an album that I will skip, but this one I usually play all the way through.

I love this album. for one thing, the lyrics are more mature than on her first album. And it's got a great message. She sings about problems that teens are having now-a-days. About premarital sex, and how Jesus can be our escape from situations like that(The Situation), and just songs like that. It's a really great CD.
