There Is No End to Incredible Music! | Posted April-09-2012
TFK has done it again! The End Is Where We Begin is a great album, not only does it have a great intro/outro, the songs in between are amazing!
From the 'scream your lungs out' sound of Let the Sparks Fly, Light Up the Sky, and I Get Wicked to the rock of Down, War of Change, We Are, and The End is Where We Begin this album is a mix of greatness!
Fly On the Wall, is a special favorite. The use of strings, a great melody, with a heartfelt cry for rising up to who we were made to be, makes this song one of the best.
Along with some hard rock'n songs, So Far Gone, All I Need To Know, and Be Somebody speak to the heart and even though they are slower and less head-bangin', they do not fall short of the quality that TFK has again produced!

I have loved Britt Nicole's music from the beginning! After the release of The Lost Get Found, I was very excited to see what she would do for her next album. GOLD has not disappoited me at all! I love every song on the record, with no exceptions!
Britt's heart and message that she shares are needed and a refreshing reminder of all that God has in store for His people. My favorite songs, Ready or Not (feat. Lecrae), Still that Girl, The Sun Is Rising, Gold, and Stand, are all great encouragements and calls to lead and be unashamed of who we are and who God is.
I highly recommend Britt Nicole's new album Gold! I think it will touch your heart and encourage you to stand in your identity in Chirst. :)
Love Transends All Things | Posted March-16-2012
Illusion is a great book filled with suspense, unanswered questions, magic, and love. As the story progresses, you will see their paths begin to criss-cross as mysteries begin to appear and questions begin to be asked. Frank Peretti has done an excellent job of leaving you at the end of each chapter, desiring to know what happens next. Peretti's skill of giving the audience just enough to keep them wanting more is classic, and just as suspensful, if not more so, than rest of his great books!
The parable of love and how true love, God's love, transends everything, even time, is a great reminder to all who have fallen in love with the person of Chirst Jesus. The story holds twists and turns, but in the end... well I guess that's for the reader to find out!
Nine Lashes.... ROCK! | Posted February-11-2012
I recently discovered Nine Lashes, by looking for songs that Trevor MacNevan has featured in. I listened to Adrenaline and then searched for more of their songs on YouTube. I quickly found there music to be not only full of rock and great sounds, but of a great message! Their heart for God is the other thing that made me love them: their message of remembering all that Jesus has done for us is one of God's love - you can't beat that! Every single song on their album I love! It's hard to always find an album that I love through and through! I HIGHLY Recommend Nine Lashes!
Icon For Hire! Rock On! | Posted September-13-2011
I loved listening to this album! I first heard of IFH at Creation Fest 2011 NE, and have loved them ever since! They bring a new sound, with the same rock, head-banging sound that is loved by all rock fans!
The album starts off with an amazing overture and first song. Theatre is all about masks and not wanting to fit in and conform; to no longer act on the stage of life, but to stand out and burn the theatre down; to be real, so to speak. That theme runs thorough the whole project, in one sense or another.
The Grey is also a very good song,. I especially love the bridge: You tell me / in your deepest pain / in your weakest hour / in your darkest night / you are lovely." This speaks of the vioce of God speaking to His kids, that no matter where we are, that Jesus still sees us as lovely and beautiful, because He made us that way.
The record has some good rock'n songs, like Make a Move, and Off With Her Head, as well as some more sad/vulnerable songs, like Only A Memory and Pieces.
The whole album has a lot of emotion and speaks of real feelings and situaitons, that, I feel, a lot of people can relate to. I highly recommend Icon For Hire's new project: Scrpited! Rock On!
Furiously Awesome! | Posted September-13-2011
I love this new album! I have loved Jeremy Riddle's songs since I first heard his song Sweetly Broken. The first song on Jeremy's new project, Fall Afresh, just brings me into a sweet place of worship! The song Furious captures God's love so well! It reminds me of the movie Furious Love, and just how God's love is really what this life is all about. Jeremy also has some upbeat songs in his mix of songs, such as Love Come Down and One Thing Remains. I highly recommend this album and artist!
Love her spirit and Message! | Posted September-06-2011
V. Rose has created a great album that is truly relevant to our new generation! Her songs Not So Average and Christian Girl speak about identity in Christ and who we are a chistians. Her song Love Pursuit (featuring John Katina) is a powerful ballad between God and a child of God of whom God is chasing after. I highly recommend this album and her music video for Not So Average.
I highly recommend Robert's new album! I saw him in concert at Creation Fest 2011 NE and he rocked! He sang a handfull of his new songs from this new album and I am emjoying listening to them on my laptop, a few weeks later! From his original songs from when he was young, to his music now, his maturity and heart fot the Lord has continued to shine throug his songs. As for his new music, it is very relevant to our generation and to the time and season in which God has his Church. "I'm All In" and "Who R U" is a call to be hot and not lukewarm, all in and not only half way. Again, Rober Pierre has out done himself yet again! God bless!
Listen to their Sound! | Posted May-11-2011
Building 429 has taken their style and produced an album containng both new sounds and sounds that reflect their latter work. The album has profound meaninngs laced through its songs and album such as running to God, listening to God's voice, finding ourselves in Him, to name a few.
As for "the sound" of the ablum, the songs are either catchy or moving, and sometimes both, such as War Zone. I have been satisfied with Building 429 from the beginning, and I can say that I still am satisfied with them as a band as they release their new album, Listen to the Sound.
A Valuable Allegory in Thriller Form | Posted May-10-2011
This book is very complex and has a very suspenseful feel to its plot. As most of Peretti's books, The Oath is character driven and has a complex plot development, including many unexpected twists!
The characters in this book have a variety of pasts which affect how they act in their present and future. The main character Steve Benson starts out as an individual searching for answers to how and why his sister-in-law is in the hospital and why his brother is dead. What he finds out is a town who made a deal with the devil; an oath given long ago.
What makes the town special, other than the unique people in it, including Officer Tracy Ellis, Levi Cobb, and Harold Bly, is the dragon which, one-by-one, takes the lives of the sinners in the town. Peretti does a very good job of using the allegory of a dragon and ooze over the heart to represent sin and demonstrate how the wages of sin is death.
The character transformation displayed in The Oath shows that sin can corrupt and make the best of people do evil, as well as not corrupt those who look to Jesus for victory over their sin. In the end it is the love, faithfulness towards God, and God's authority and power that wins over sin.
Frank Peretti has truly done it again, in bringing the audience face to face with the reality of sin and the flesh which dwells within us all. I truly recommend this book, not only as a story, but as a good lesson and eye opener into the world of sin and love; death and life.
