Meredith is amazing...not only in voice, but the words to each of her songs are incredible. It completely met me where I am at. She sings of so many truths of God. This is well needed....each and every song.

This album is one that I listen to over and over again. I love the feel of it and especially love the lyrics. It speaks to my heart...deep! At this point all the songs are a favorite of mine.

Liked enough to recommend... | Posted September-17-2008
I liked this album enough to recommend to most people I know. Although I feel most songs have the samed "sound", I do love her lyrics. I believe it probably resonates with the audience that would listen to her. I am also going to assume that she is still young enough that more can come in the years ahead that will be better and better. She does have a great voice! My favorite songs at this point are "Quiet My Heart" and "Ok". I hope we hear more from her, but she will have to change it up a bit.

I read the Shack over a month ago and I still find myself thinking about it quite a bit. I tend to talk about it to people wondering if they've read it and if they have, what did they feel about it. It was a great fictional book. I loved the depth of questions that were asked, the "out of the box" way that the characters were portrayed, and the many truths that are unfolded. I did feel as if something is missing in the authors attempt to describe the character of God. Although so beautiful and mostly accurate.... something is missing. But this is where the fact that the book is fictional, that missing piece is okay. Overall, I loved this book. I am careful as to who I recommend this to. I am planning on reading it again and hope to develop some discussions around it. It is a great book to talk about and dive into.
