I read the Shack over a month ago and I still find myself thinking about it quite a bit. I tend to talk about it to people wondering if they've read it and if they have, what did they feel about it. It was a great fictional book. I loved the depth of questions that were asked, the "out of the box" way that the characters were portrayed, and the many truths that are unfolded. I did feel as if something is missing in the authors attempt to describe the character of God. Although so beautiful and mostly accurate.... something is missing. But this is where the fact that the book is fictional, that missing piece is okay. Overall, I loved this book. I am careful as to who I recommend this to.
