Have you ever wondered what would have happened to Leah if she had been yanked out of the desert and put into an entirely different culture and time?
What of her famously beautiful sister Rachel? Have you ever wondered about her? Liz Curtis Higgs takes the infamous story of Jacob and places him in Scotland, during the late 1700s.
Keeping true to the biblical connotations she creates a wonderful story that keeps you turning reaching for that next page.
This isn't a story that starts out strong and ends weakly, it starts out strong and ends just as strongly. It's a good read for anyone interested in the history of Scotland and the story of Jacob and those two mothers of the 12 tribes of Israel: Rachel and Leah.

This book was full of surprises. I did not know what to expect but I had some extra cash and decided to buy a book and the cover caught my attention.
Lori Wick truly has a gift of seeing into the human heart and exposing it and the trials that believers go through if put into certain situations.
If you like a romantic book that will uplift you spiritually then I suggest this one. The end made me smile.
