Phil has an unusual collection of songs that doesn't jive with everyone. I, for one, LOVE this CD.

Girl Power! | Posted March-24-2008
These girls know how to ROCK OUT! Their lyrics are passionate and filled with clean messages about purity and Jesus. I use BarlowGirl's music to reach out to girls who are searching for something in life. Their tunes always seem to strike a chord and stick with whoever I suggest it to. GOOD STUFF!

Astronomical | Posted March-24-2008
I love this CD! I found it as I was taking an astronomy class and was pleased to hear several lyrics throughout the CD dealing with stars and moons and such.
The song, "When Did You Fall," is such a fun, lovely love song! This is a fun CD...perfect for a slow summer day.

Nostalgia | Posted March-24-2008
This album is near and dear to my heart and is the soundtrack of the life I lived in New Zealand for 9 months. Brooke was introduced to me through my church down there and I instantly fell in love with her lyrics and the passion of her music. The story behind Albertine touches my heart. The album became my Friday Cleaning music and I brought it back to the States and have spread the love. I can't wait until the rest of America gets to know her amazing talent and falls in love with her.

Heartbreaking | Posted March-24-2008
This is my favorite book of the Redemption series. As a former librarian, I would hand my patrons a kleenex and suggest chocolate as they read this book. They'd always come back with tears in their eyes as they would tell me how this book touched their lives. I have never cried harder in a book as I did in this one. I have become inredibly attached to the Baxter family and feel like they are part of my own. This book rounds out a beautiful series by Karen Kingsbury.

Beautiful Illustration of Hosea | Posted March-24-2008
A fictional illustration of the Book of Hosea, Francine Rivers re-wrote this book as it was an explicit romance novel. This is a powerful story of redemption and grace. I've given this book to a former prostitute and it's helped shape the view she had of herself. God can and will restore a pure heart and life. God will bless those who seek Him. Francine clearly depicts that in this amazing book of hers.

Lovely | Posted March-24-2008
That's the only word I can find to describe Shawn's music. It's straight from the heart and beautiful. The music, the lyrics don't hide anything and speak a clear message. It usually takes me a while to get to really like his CDs, but it's so worth it! I can use a different Shawn song to be the theme song to many different periods of my life. I feel like I know him through his music. He's an amazing artist who isn't afraid to sound different. I'm so thankful for his talent!
