Lecrae has more gospel-centric lyrics in any one of his rhymes than most CCM artists have for multiple albums.
If you have kids who like hip-hop, but you wince at the lyrics of the current songs on the pop music scene, Lecrae will be a blessing to you. He's not a great Christian hip-hop artist, he's a great hip-hop artist PERIOD! He's been given a gift of relaying the Word of God in an amazing way that is real and relevant and keeps you hooked from beginning to end.
