A former student at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Rachel Taylor is a fresh songwriter from the Boston area, who can easily be compared to the styles and/or voices of KT Tunstall, Norah Jones and Jewel. "Insides these Walls" is her 3rd solo CD release. Her first recording "Revolving" was released in 2001, a compilation of seven originals and one jazz standard. Shortly there after she joined a band of female artists called "Maeve"... Maeve - Whatever Befall - Return to Me.. ... who she has been performing with ever since. "When you are in a band, it is necessary to meld and become one with the other performs. Who you are is joined with who they are and that becomes a whole new being." This album is an effort to explore once again who she is creatively on her own....
