Dante’ Pride, born Nathan Davis Jr., is a Christian hip-hop artist, speaker, and culture shifter from North Alabama, now based in Huntsville, AL Introduced to Christian hip-hop at age 8 and recording at 12, he grew up in a traditional church environment but later realized the difference between religion and relationship with Christ. This led to his breakout single “Can I Turn Up In Your Church?”, which challenged traditional church culture and sparked a personal and spiritual awakening.
Dante’ Pride’s 2020 EP I Lived, produced by Grammy-winning Kelvin Wooten and Nate Thomas, featured his hit “All in the Water”, which helped him secure high-profile performances and collaborations. He gained national attention with his viral freestyle over Kanye West’s Sunday Service choir’s “Souls Anchored”, which went viral on social media. His single “Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah” featuring gospel legend Lisa Page Brooks became a #1 Billboard-charting hit.
He has performed at major events such as Winterfest (10,000+ attendees), The Colorado Arts Festival, Camp Utopia, and arenas like The Orion Amphitheater and BJCC. He has toured with artists including Maverick City Music, Elevation Worship, Fearless LA, and Dove Award winner Pastor Mike Jr.
