In 2005, four friends from Sydney Australia set out to write a more progressive and heavier form of Australian Rock. Since then there have been ups, downs, members quit, weddings, tears, laughs, gold mine expeditions, overseas adventures, full time jobs, countless rehearsals, late nights, tons of broken guitar strings, tens of thousands of dollars spent on equipment and CD's, beach parties, bbq's, lost friends and new friends. It has been a long road, yet every member of this band confidently states that they would not have done things any differently.

This year MARK THE SKY decided that they wanted to share every single one of these experiences with the rest of the world. This is what RISE represents. And Whilst it is the end of a long road... this is only the beginning!

Mark the Sky are set to tour the release of their EP starting early September, confirming shows in Sydney, Melbourne and New Zealand with plans to head over to Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth early next year. They have played alongside: Behind Crimson Eyes, Something with Numbers, Freestate, and Olivia band (USA).
