Born in 1999 and growing up in the mountains of Colorado, singer/songwriter Arielle Nichole has experienced deeply how music can give voice to the pain we go through in life and transform it into a beautiful melody.

From the young age of 4, Arielle began singing in her family’s church in Montrose, Colorado, and fell in love with music. Those around her noticed the anointing and infectious joy that couldn’t help but overflow when she sang. Her love for singing was deeply rooted in her adoration for Jesus, the One her heart loves. She joined kids' choirs and later started leading worship at her youth group in middle school. It was here that she asked a percussionist from school, Taron Church, to drum at youth group. Little did she know that he would be her future husband, co-writer, drummer, and teammate for life.

Although an onlooker might have seen her smiling face and joyful spirit on the surface, underneath this, Arielle found herself grappling with gripping anxiety and severe obsessive-compulsive symptoms. Day and night, her thoughts were like a prison cell she couldn’t escape. Irrational fears held her tightly and controlled her actions. She feared that her mind would never be sound. But through much prayer, counseling, and a supportive community, she began to see firsthand how Jesus would give her the peace she needed to conquer her fears, moment by moment. Eventually, these experiences would be penned into songs that not only brought peace to her heart but also to the hearts of others.

Arielle and her husband find immense joy in writing songs that point people to a personal relationship with Christ. Today, Arielle stands not only as a vocalist who has shared her gift from the US to Australia, but also as a songwriter recognized for her soul-stirring lyrics, earning accolades like the 21st Annual Songwriter of the Year at ChristianSongwriting.com
