Staple was a Christian rock/post-hardcore group from Mechanicsburg, Ohio. Staple was founded in 2000 when the members met at Rosedale Bible College in Ohio. They have played close to 300 shows in two years and have toured with Disciple and Spoken.
On Wednesday, May 17, 2006, Staple announced that they would be breaking up at the end of the summer.
The band reunited in early 2009 with new members, and independently released the Gatekeeper EP. On Oct. 12, 2009 they announced via their myspace that they were tentatively scheduled to head into the studio that December, with Grant Beachy from Electric Angel Studios to record songs they were working on. The band has posted no updates since that time.

Hands down the most musically original and talented Christian band of their day, and would most likely be so today if still together. I miss their music deeply.
