Symphony in Peril formed in Columbus, OH in 2002. The band gained attention quite early in their development because Shawn Jonas, former vocalist for popular metalcore band Zao, was one of the founding members. Quickly, they signed with Facedown Records, and released their debut full-length, “Lost Memoirs and Faded Pictures”, in 2003 and then released their second full-length album on February 15, 2005. The basis of the album is the Bible’s Book of Revelation, specifically chapter 17.
Symphony In Peril was active in 2003-2006 and put out a couple CDs on Facedown Records. They came back together in 2022 and in earnest in 2023. Now have put out a couple singles and done a couple short tours in 2023 with some great bands and will be putting out a new full length in 2023. So if you used to listen to them back then, they're back! If this is your first time, I hope that you check out the new songs on all streaming platforms and they hope to see all of you at a show in 2023!
