I am an accomplished executive and have amassed a small fortune. In my journey, I had to confront chronic depression episodes that forced me to pivot my business interests. I used to think that my accomplishments were in spite of my challenges but now see it as the blessing.
In every episode of depression, contemporary christian music was the paved path out of the funk. Im probably a part of a legion of fellow travelers. I'm hoping to find some who developed a healthy addiction to worship music. My wife can attest to the existential impact of music on my soul and my children use music in their daily life.
Surrounded was the song that guided me through a five month episode. So thankful that you wrote that song. So thankful that I could write a note directly to the inspired writer of that song!
