Lauren was born in Tokyo as the oldest daughter of Rev. Arthur Hollands and Carolyn Hollands.
She soon moved to Hawaii to attend Bible College. She attended New Hope Oahu where she served on the music team and got to sing back up for singers such as Anthony Evans, Linda McCrary Fisher and Tommy Walker.
After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Worship and the Arts she came back to Japan in hopes to serve her home church as a volunteer music director.
When a video she uploaded on YouTube for a friend who was wanting a Japanese translation for 10000 Reasons gained audiences from around the world she was discovered by Hillsong's translation team and was invited to translate for their Japanese Album.
Lauren enjoys making music and visiting churches to share her gift and story.
