After finishing his studies at Berklee College of Music, Robert Angel was unaware how his music career would take off. In the fall of 2010, he was fortunate to get his start when he joined gospel recording artist Tye Tribbett as a background vocalist. He was discovered by Tribbett and his wife when he first submitted an audition video to their search on YouTube. Since then, Robert Angel has been given the privilege to tour with Tye Tribbett and travel the world from the U.S. to Japan, performing on stages such as The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Billboard Live! in Tokyo. He also recorded on two of Tribbett’s albums, one of which won two Grammys for Best Gospel Song and Best Gospel Album in 2014.

Based in Springfield, MA, Robert Angel independently released his debut single “Have It All” in August of 2019, and is currently recording his debut EP to be released in late 2020. Robert Angel presents energetic christian pop music with roots in dance, r&b, and gospel that showcase a passionate vocal performance over God-glorifying lyrics. “Everything I hope to be, you can have it all.”
