Born and raised in China, transplanted to America by God, Cynthia is very thankful for being blessed with many talents and gifts in her life.  At a very young age, her artistic parents influenced her with various forms of art, especially performing arts.  Music has always been in her life, but not until her teenage years did Cynthia begin formal piano and vocal training.  Now she knows clearly that it was God who orchestrated that process.  He wanted to use those particular, dormant, and undeveloped talents one day for His own glory.  

Cynthia's very first encounter with God was by a miracle God performed for her, yet she did not even know it was God showing her love and mercy.  The day before she was saved, God revealed Himself to her through a vision.  The love of God surrounded her and humbled her.  Cynthia surrendered her life to the Lord.  Before her conversion, she made music for the love of man and of world with all her heart.  After being redeemed, Cynthia plays melodies for the love of Christ and the freedom in Christ with all her being.  Cynthia has a strong desire of worshiping her Lord and Savior through music and an aching longing for the presence of her God.  It is through her music that Cynthia can express her deepest love to her Creator.

From the very beginning of her Christian journey, the Lord has trained her as a vibrant intercessor.  David once said, " Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle." (Ps. 144.1)  For Cynthia, the way God trained her to battle is not with spears and arrows, but to lift up her voice and fingers in shouts of praises.  All battles belong to God, yet Cynthia is honored to be one of the vessels He can use freely. 

As a professionally trained classical pianist and vocalist, Cynthia holds a B.A in music education from China and M.M in piano performance from the U.S.   Over the years, she has performed on stage as an instrumental and vocal soloist, dancer, announcer, and accompanist.   Cynthia is also an active music educator, songwriter and enjoys arranging instrumental pieces from hymns.  While she is so grateful for her musical gifts and training, Cynthia knows she is nothing and can do nothing without her Lord.  Nevertheless, with the Spirit of Truth and the power of Christ in her, Cynthia can do all things that God wants to accomplish through her.  She is chosen by God for His own glory, and He alone is her confidence.  That is why she embraces this calling with boldness, courage, and zeal for Christ.
