Though "Firm Foundation" is Crawford's first official release, he has been sharing music during worship for years. Growing up as a preacher's kid, Crawford had many opportunities to sing in church. After graduating from high school, he got a job as the worship leader at the church where he was raised.
His love for music, however, goes back much earlier.
"My parents have pictures of me as a toddler sitting in front of the entertainment center with headphones on, listening to Handel's Messiah." Crawford says. "I still remember just laying on the floor of the living room, listening to Steven Curtis Chapman for hours. Now when I look back I can see that it was all just preparing me for this."
In recent years, Crawford has shared his music with thousands of people in worship services across the midwest and has shared the stage with artists such as Hawk Nelson, Stars Go Dim, Austin French and many more.
In September 2019, Crawford signed with McLaughlin Music Group for management. He is in the midst of recording his first project of original music.
