We are 5 Teenagers who love God and Worship him with our music, i would like to take this time to tell you guys that God is awesome. and if it wasn't for God giving us these Talents. none of this would be happening!. We owe everything in our lives to him.

Catchy, melodic rich, fun-filled, but serious lyrics-style is the common driving force behind The Set Apart's high-energy Alternative / Rock sound. Formed in 2006, the band started as the youth-group worship team at Ridgefield Church of the Nazarene, but The Set Apart decided to become more than just a typical worship band.

The band will continue to lead worship for the youth of Ridgefield, but they also want to take their message elsewhere. Travis Zumstein (Bass) says, helping show people that living for God does not have to be boring, excites us, because we [The Set Apart] praise God in an excitingly different, and fun way. We like to bring people to God through our music.

Rod Curran (Lead Vocals / Guitar), his younger brother, Chris Curran (Drums), Travis Zumstein (Bass), and the most recent addition Jeremy Koering (Guitars / Lyricist) make up The Set Apart, in addition Chelsea Nelson (Vocals) joins the stage for the worship aspect of the band.

Jeremy Koering says, "My goal is to write and express feelings through songs that will glorify God, but keep it on a level that other people can relate to as well." In the future The Set Apart hopes to do just that, glorify God through music.
