Parrish is the musical project of Nate and Rachel Parrish. Nate, having been a part of the Christian music scene for some time in the bands, Worth Dying For (Integrity) and Kingdom (Dream Records), and Rachel, a solo artist in her own right, combine their love of folk/country and rock with honest songwriting and congregational worship. These songs are the culmination of both the struggle and victory they have experienced in their lives together. In styles varying from the upbeat folk sing a long "In the Storm" to the country inspired cover of the classic hymn "Nothing but the Blood", Parrish tells the story of hope and redemption for all at the cross of Christ.
Nate and Rachel currently serve as worship leaders at Hillside Christian Church in Napa, California.
“Music has the unique ability to be able to break down walls and convey a message like nothing else. Our message is that there is hope, redemption and unfailing love to be found in the person of Jesus Christ” - Nate

Album lyrics Death was buried in its grave
The cup, it did not pass from His lips. He drank deep the punishment for sin
The lion became the lamb, when God took the place of man. The wage for sin was paid when death was buried in its grave
For three long days, in a tomb our savior laid, it would not hold, no, the grave could not contain
The lion became the lamb, when God took the place of man. The wage for sin was paid when death was buried in its grave
The dead man rise, the blind man sees, the lame man walk, the mute shall sing
The lion became the lamb, when God took the place of man. The son of God He came to free the captives from their chains
The lion became the lamb, when God took the place of man, The wage for sin was paid when death was buried in its grave In the storm
Into the soil my roots run deep, and if the wind should strip me of my leaves, I will stand up tall with branches bare, for in the storm I know my Lord is there
My anchor digs into the sand, and if the waves should take me away from land, let the wind fill my sails with air, for in the storm I know my Lord is there
And if the clouds should keep you from my view, then by faith alone I’ll follow you
My hearts the beat, my voice, the tune and my life is a song Ill sing to you
Not even thunder can drown out my voice, for in the storm I know my Lord is there
Refuge
We are the beggars with crumbs to eat, He brings us to the banquet feast
We are the orphans, taken in, sons and daughters of the King
So let the weak say, I am strong, let the lost say I belong, strive no longer struggle not, there is refuge at the cross
Mothers, daughters, fathers, sons, brothers , sisters, come
The work is accomplished, the war is won, thru Christ our King, it is done
So let the weak say, I am strong, let the lost say I belong, strive no longer struggle not, there is refuge at the cross Lord I come to thee
Like a rebel with weapons laid down, oh Lord I come to thee
Like kings and queens undeserving of crowns, oh Lord I come to thee
The slaves are unchained and the captives set free, rejoice all God’s children for you’ve been redeemed
Like a ship lost at sea, let my anchor down, oh Lord I come to thee
Like the unfaithful bride now clothed in white, oh Lord I come to thee
Like the guilty man, now pardoned of his crimes, oh Lord I come to thee
The slaves are unchained and the captives set free, rejoice all God’s children for you’ve been redeemed
Like a ship lost at sea, let my anchor down, oh Lord I come to thee Skin and bone
We live in skin and bone, in a house but not at home
Pilgrims in a strangers land, we search for rock among the sand
Soon, very soon, all things will be made new
Soon, very soon, our king is coming soon
Thru wind and wave the anchor holds, it is our hope in Christ the Lord
He’s come to make the wrong things right, and turn our darkness into light
Soon, very soon, all things will be made new
Soon, very soon, our king is coming soon
Hold fast, carry on, He is coming soon
Soon, very soon, all things will be made new
Soon, very soon, our king is coming soon Nothing but the blood
What can wash away my sin, what can make me whole again
Nothing can for sin atone, nothing good that I have done
Nothing but the blood
What can wash away my sin, what can make me whole again
This is all my hope and peace, this is all my righteousness
Nothing but the blood
Oh precious is the flow that makes me white as snow, no other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus
