Anastasya Laverdiere is a passionate worship leader and songwriter born and raised in British 
Columbia, Canada. While attending Briercrest Bible College she grew and developed in her 
passion for music and song writing through classes and touring in musical groups. Having lead 
worship for many years, she has had the opportunity to release several of her songs and seen 
God use them to minister to many hearts. She most recently completed a seven song compilation of some of these songs. The album's title song, Draw Me Away seeks to capture the heart of the writer of Song of Solomon 1:4 who desires a close and connected relationship to the One he loves. The songs on the album express uplifting and declarative praise found in, "He's Alive" and "You are Life" as well as intimate worship seeking out the presence of God felt in songs such as "Nothing Better" and "King".

Anastasya strives to discover a unique and genuine way to convey what her heart is saying. Viewing her song writing like an actual conversation with a real and present God who is listening, she states, " I want to be honest in writing. John 4:24 encourages us to come to God 'in truth' and I long to come to Him this way, open before Him and ready to hear what He wants to say."  Anastasya’s songs give listeners an inside view into her on-going relationship with the Father and she hopes this transparency in her writing will inspire others to see, believe and trust Him and pursue their own deeper relationship with Him. She carries a big heart for people to know how much they mean to God so that they are able to confidently and lovingly approach Him and become what He calls them to be.

Anastasya Laverdiere is looking forward to touring with the album and leading at various conferences, festivals and other venues throughout the summer. She currently lives in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and serves at Victory Family Church with her husband Joel Laverdiere.
