Illuminator gospel (born Kalu Pius) is a Nigerian Gospel Artist/singer, song writer and Pastor based in Madrid, Spain. He is married to Vero Kālu and they have 3 lovely children.
 This great man of God was born on the 1st of January 1973. He is from Ugwueke in Bende L.G.A of Abia State in Nigeria.
 Kalu Pius was born into an adorable Christian home, his parents had 5 children and he is the youngest of his siblings.
 In 1997 he graduated from Abia State Polytechnic where he studied Electrical Engineering (from there came his artistic name Illuminator gospel which means "he that brings light to darkness).
 He is gifted with an angelic voice which he has been using as a child to the glory of God, he actually got the inspiration to go into music when he was barely 10 years old but his parents insisted he must first finish his tertiary education before becoming a musician
. After his studies, he went into music as a professional gospel singer.
It is one of the best decisions he ever took because he has been reaping huge success since he became a musician in 2001.
 Illuminator gospel has been acknowledged internationally. He has sang in crusades, different churches, conventions and seminars.
 Though he has been singing for many years, Illuminator gospel released his first official album titled "Gospel swagger" in March 2011with a hit single (Nara).
 “Nara" is one of the  modern rhythmic gospel song thus making it a hit song, This song made an extremely strong wave in the Nigerian gospel music industry. The album "Gospel Swagger" sold over five million copies in the first 6 months of it's release in Nigeria. The track "Nara" is till date one of the top gospel dance-able music in Nigeria.
It is still in top charts of many radios and Television stations in Africa such as AIT (Nigeria), ITV, Silver Bird, Chanel O (South Africa). Due to his unique and captivating style of gospel music, Illuminator gospel has been invited to perform in many Christian events and gospel concerts across Europe (Spain, Germany, Sweden, etc.). He is often interviewed by TV and radio presenters in Europe and Africa. He has a very tight schedule but he still manages to write his gospel songs which he releases whenever the finishing touches are done.
