Robbie Seay is best know for his career as a songwriter, recording artist, and worship leader. He founded the Robbie Seay Band in 2001. Songs from the band have been featured in multiple TV shows and movies including American Idol, One Tree Hill, and numerous shows on the ABC network.
With multiple songs on the CCLI charts for many years now, including "Song Of Hope," Robbie is the rare songwriter whose songs are both worshipful and inviting to a broader audience. Robbie Seay Band is very grateful to have made a career of writing and recording music about their faith, lives of love and loss, and everything else in between.
After recording with EMI Music for many years, the band went independent in 2012 with the release of their album, Rich & Poor. In late 2013, they started an independent project of EPs based on Psalms which culminated with the release of their Psalms LP in early 2015.
"The Old Testament theologian Gordon Wenham said 'Singing or praying the Psalms is a performative act. Saying them to God alters one's relationship in a way that merely listening does not.' Our hope is that you enjoy these new songs, store these Psalms within you, and that together we sing and pray these Psalms in response to a loving and holy God," Robbie said.

Hey guys, thank you for pouring out your hearts to worship God in your new album. I really enjoy your music, and especially love "Awaken My Soul" when I feel that I need to be filled with God's Spirit once again. God bless and keep at it!

I fell in love with their sound since I heard 'New Day' for the first time. Beautifully raw - reminds me of dancing in the rain...
