Briana, a native of Phoenix, Arizona, began singing as a child at the Emmanuel church under the leadership of the late Bishop Felton King. She went on to become a lead singer in a number of choirs and groups throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area as well as nationally.

In 2005, Briana released her debut album, “While I’m Here”, which garnered 2 Stellar Award nominations as well as 3 GMA Dove Award nominations. The project featured many great songs. In review of Briana's debut album, Peggy Oliver of GospelCity.com asserted, "Briana has a fascinating voice capable of exceptional interpretation and a smart sense of arrangements."

In 2008, Briana released her second musical offering, a Christmas album titled “O What A Night”. With this project, Briana took popular songs and soulfully merged gospel influences with multiple genres. The project included a stirring rendition of Donny Hathaway’s “This Christmas” and “Who Would Imagine A King” (a beautiful song made popular by Whitney Houston). The project earned Briana a 2009 Stellar Award nomination for Special Event CD of the Year.

Briana has appeared on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) and on TV One's Gospel of Music with Jeff Majors Show. Additionally, Briana has been the guest worship leader and psalmist at many conferences and churches including those of highly revered leaders such as, Bishop Alexis Thomas of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Bishop Charles E. Blake of West Angeles Church of God in Christ, Bishop Ernestine Reems of Center of Hope Community Church, and Pastor E.V. Hill, II of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Briana's musical journey afforded her the opportunity to share the platform with: Israel Houghton, Stevie Wonder, Sandi Patty, The Winans, Tramaine Hawkins, The Clark Sisters, Kim Burrell, Avalon, Jeff Deyo and host of others.

When asked about the objective of her ministry as a psalmist and writer, she responded, "I want my music to inspire the heart, strengthen the spirit, and sooth the soul."
