From the cornfields of Northwest Ohio, The Stairwell was born in the break-up of the local Christian Rock band, The Fall of Jericho. Lead vocalist and rhythm guitar player, Ben Vasko, decided to give it another shot, this time taking his musical pursuits in a slightly different direction. While keeping some of the driving pop/rock of The Fall of Jericho, The Stairwell also makes use of simple instrumentals paired with soaring and catchy vocals to drive his emotionally charged lyrics. This mostly alternative and acoustic outfit uses songs with relatable topics such as relationships and God’s influence in people’s lives. With this new sound, Ben hopes to connect with his listeners by giving them a positive message and spread the word of God.
