John and Joslyn both attended Lee University, where John was the drummer and the chaplain for the "Lee University Campus Choir," and Joslyn sang with the famed "Voices of Lee." Upon leaving Lee, John moved to the Atlanta area to serve as the youth pastor at Hope and Life Fellowship, while Joslyn moved to the Nashville area to travel with the singing group "Day One." Several years later, John and Joslyn met at the wedding of a mutual friend, and the rest is history. They were married in 2004, and Joslyn joined John in ministry at Hope and Life, where they continued to serve as youth pastors, eventually transitioning to worship ministry. After almost ten years of service, the Lord told them that it was time to take a step of faith and GO! They took that step with the support of their family, pastor, and church. They now travel the country ministering in song and the Word at conferences and local churches, where they pour into worship departments and musicians their desire for unity and for God's presence.
John and Joslyn bring a new sound to the kingdom of God. It is a unique, multi-cultural sound that transcends the lines of color, race, and tradition. It is a prophetic sound that changes the atmosphere, driving back spiritual darkness and releasing the will and word of God into the earth. It is a fresh sound that gives believers freedom to experience the reality of God's love and presence. This sound is the result of the Brockmans' deep love for God and their great desire to experience His presence with others.
The Brockmans are featured on the Hope and Life Worship record "I Will Be The One" and on their Christmas EP "Holy Night". They have also been featured on the worldwide network Daystar and the Trinity Broadcasting Network on several occasions. They have worked with such artists as Chicago, CeCe Winans, Trent Cory, Mary Alessi, Ken Reynolds, William McDowell, Martha Munizzi, Darwin Hobbs, Candi Staton, David and Nicole Binion, and Judy Jacobs. John is a co-writer on a song that is currently sweeping the nation, "Heaven On Earth." He has also written songs recorded by Hope and Life Worship, William McDowell, Freddy Rodriguez, Darwin Hobbs, Candi Staton, David and Nicole Binion, Josh Dufrene, Judy Jacobs, Micah Stampley and The Prestonwood Choir.
John and Joslyn live in Harker Heights TX. with their two daughters Sophia and Ava. They currently serve as worship pastors of Destiny World Outreach Center in Killeen, TX.
