When you can't get a band together, what's a teenage guitarist and singer-songwriter supposed to do? Make his own beats, of course. Peter Lalush, known professionally as A.I.R., combines the energetic stage presence of a punk rock group, the sometimes fun and sometimes serious lyrics of a pop musician, and the beatmaking and audio engineering expertise of a dance music producer. From the blazing party anthem "Set It Off" to the punk rock declaration "Rocket" to the Linkin Park-meets-Sleigh Bells energy of "Run Run", there's hardly a dud in A.I.R.'s library.
A.I.R. has released one full-length album on iTunes called aTypical, and two EPs - one on NoiseTrade called Young Reckless Stupid and one on Bandcamp called This Is A Warning. His current project is a second full-length, currently codenamed Project Devastate.
