Home Is Calling brings a blended melodic rock style to this generation’s alternative worship scene. Infused with poetic lyrics, fans of Coldplay and The Fray will connect, while fans of Thrice and The Frozen Ocean will identify with embellished, yet simple guitar riffs.
As close friends, Matt Henchcliffe (vocals/guitar), Patrick Fitzgerald (guitars), and Ray Frazier (drums) formed with the simple mission to find love and give love in their daily lives. “We believe He is present in all we do, all around us, all the time,” says Henchcliffe. “It’s our heart to expose that beautiful reality of our Father’s love to the people around us.”
Brought to Boston, MA for a church plant, Home Is Calling believes their mission is lived in everyday community and extended through their music. “Evening Lights” is a recognition of awareness. It’s a musical statement proclaiming a day should never pass without intimately encountering the visible and tangible presence of God. Mixed by Kevin Bruchert (The Glorious Unseen, The Ember Days), the album was completely funded by friends and family through Kickstarter. Through their support, the album will be available as a free download through Come&Live! Home Is Calling is currently booking for 2012.
