Born in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl and raised in South Carolina for 10 years Izrel has found himself learning all ways of life. Growing up in Florida he learned about the streets where as growing up in South Carolina he learned about the country life.As a teen, he began writing rap music, he recorded his first track in his house on his mothers computer using the basic sound recorder. Growing up without a father made his rhymes become ruthless filled with pain and sometimes misery. Looking for a role model he began following the ideas and philosophies of Tupac Shakur. He adopted the mindset of T.H.U.G.L.I.F.E. believing that he was all alone in a cold world he began dealing drugs and doing drugs. All this after being saved at 13 years old and backsliding. Even after excepting his call to ministry at the age of 13, he chose the path that wasn’t meant to be. After encountering many obstacles due to the so called “street life” he decided this life wasn’t for him, he began to devise plans to take his life. Unsuccessful in his attempts at death God called him for a second chance, this time Izrel will commit to the call and pursue the vision God has for him. Not only is he a powerful lyricists, he is also a devoted husband, a youth pastor, a professional basketball player and a mentor for young male adults. Most importantly on April 3, 2011 Izrel will have been ordained to the office of Elder. The name Izrel is derived from the new life that he is living. Formely speaking of himself as Jacob (heel supplanter, deciever, liar) he now lives in God’s covenant as Izrel (Israel)(prince of God). His desire as a minister, musician, firend ,and brother is to help save as many souls that are lost.
